SUMMARY:Megalodon Tooth Hunt
DESCRIPTION:for Lions\, Tigers\, Wolves \nThe Megalodon hunt is a GO! We’ll hunt on Sat 1/20/24 and camp from 1/19-21/2024. Fossil Recovery Expedition (FRE) will lead us on the hunt. FRE has been an integral part of the fossil hunting tour circuit since 2015. Based on the Peace River as well as other secluded creeks and tributaries in the area\, FRE revel in the gift of being able to give visitors\, as well as locals\, many unique ways to experience the “Olde Florida” that is all but vanishing in the present day. With centuries old Spanish moss draped live oaks\, amber colored waters and a plethora of local wildlife as the backdrop\, FRE uses modern methods of transportation to bring you and your group to the “honey holes” in style\, and then we get to the best part- finding the fossils! FRE provide all equipment so worry not! Just bring your sense of adventure and curiosity\, and enjoy the hunt! \nFood costs are not included in these tickets. Once ticket registration closes\, we will calculate meals costs and collect payment for meals at that time. We are estimating $15 per person for food\, but subject to change.

DESCRIPTION:You won’t want to miss this aquatics-themed campout with fishing\, water slides\, a dunk tank\, and much more!  The highlight of our camping trip will be our Arrow of Light Ceremony and Crossover at Saturday night’s campfire! Register by April 15 to secure Early Bird pricing of $35/youth\, $30/adult\, then prices will increase $5 per person.  Registration includes all activities and food from Friday’s late-night snack through Sunday breakfast.  Guests of AOLs who are not camping can attend just the AOL/Crossover Dinner and Celebration for $15.  Siblings 2 and under are free.

DESCRIPTION:Our first camping trip of the year is Spook-O-Ree\, October 21-23 at Camp Brorein in Odessa. This is a Council-hosted campout (multiple packs attending) with an action-packed weekend of Cub Scout activities\, concluding with a haunted trail Saturday night! \nYour Pack 46 dues includes Spook-O-Ree for registered scouts and an adult (for sibling-scouts\, one adult is included). Additional family members can register at a cost of $40 for non-scout siblings and $33 for additional parents/guardians (siblings five years of age and under are free and participation in activities will be limited).
