SUMMARY:Megalodon Tooth Hunt
DESCRIPTION:for Lions\, Tigers\, Wolves \nThe Megalodon hunt is a GO! We’ll hunt on Sat 1/20/24 and camp from 1/19-21/2024. Fossil Recovery Expedition (FRE) will lead us on the hunt. FRE has been an integral part of the fossil hunting tour circuit since 2015. Based on the Peace River as well as other secluded creeks and tributaries in the area\, FRE revel in the gift of being able to give visitors\, as well as locals\, many unique ways to experience the “Olde Florida” that is all but vanishing in the present day. With centuries old Spanish moss draped live oaks\, amber colored waters and a plethora of local wildlife as the backdrop\, FRE uses modern methods of transportation to bring you and your group to the “honey holes” in style\, and then we get to the best part- finding the fossils! FRE provide all equipment so worry not! Just bring your sense of adventure and curiosity\, and enjoy the hunt! \nFood costs are not included in these tickets. Once ticket registration closes\, we will calculate meals costs and collect payment for meals at that time. We are estimating $15 per person for food\, but subject to change.

SUMMARY:Sea World Overnight
DESCRIPTION:For Scouts and Siblings ages 7 and older (age-restricted by the venue).  \nREGISTER BY DECEMBER 28! \nBring your sleeping bag and join Pack 46 at SeaWorld Orlando on Saturday\, January 27\, 2024 for a unique\, overnight experience sleeping next to whales\, sharks\, and dolphins!  Our sleepover begins at 6:00 p.m. at SeaWorld with a pizza party and educational activities led by SeaWorld staff and concludes at 9:00 a.m. after breakfast.  Your ticket to the sleepover includes admission to the park for all of Sunday\, January 28\, 2024 at the conclusion of the sleepover. \nAdult and children registrations are each $130.00 per person\, and are non-refundable (SeaWorld’s policy). Families of scouts who sold 25+ pizza cards should have received an email with a coupon code to cover your scouts’ registration cost (adult fees still apply). \nMore details will be later provided to all registrants. \nSeaWorld Orlando\n7007 Sea World Drive\nOrlando\, FL 32821 \nA few things to keep in mind: \n1.   Due to SeaWorld’s restrictions\, this event is only open to Scouts and Siblings 7 and older. \n2.   Due to SeaWorld’s restrictions\, a maximum of one parent/guardian per registered child is permitted. Email CubScouts@Pack46.com to request additional adults. \nFAQs:\n1.  Will we be camping outside?  What supplies will I need to bring? \nA – You will be sleeping inside and will only be required to bring a sleeping bag\, pillow\, and optional air mattress or cot for ‘camping.’  Meals will be provided (no mess kits needed). If you attended the Kennedy Space Center overnight last year\, arrangements will be very similar (except the rocket!).  \n2. Is this overnight restricted to Wolves and above\, or can my 7-year-old Tiger or sibling attend?  \nA – SeaWorld’s age restriction is simply 7 years old and above\, and since we have plenty of slots available\, any scout or sibling 7 and up may register to attend. \n3.  Can 2 adults attend with our scout?  \nA – Due to SeaWorld’s restriction\, we must limit the number of adults to the number of kids registered. So you may register the same number of adults as you have children attending in your party.  If you would like to request an additional adult\, reply to this email and let us know.  If possible\, we will open up additional adult slots based on number of youth registered the last week of December.   \n4. When is the deadline to register? \nA – December 28th. Pack 46 must provide full non-refundable payment to SeaWorld\, and relinquish any un-used spots\, on December 30.   \n5. If I have an annual pass to SeaWorld\, can I get a discount on the overnight? \nA. Unfortunately\, no.  We asked SeaWorld and discounts are not available.  Every person registered will receive a hard ticket to the Park for Sunday which you may be able to use for another person who may want to join your party should you already have an annual pass.    \n6. If I am not participating in the overnight\, can I meet up with my family Sunday at SeaWorld? \nA. Absolutely!  The Overnight Experience will end around 9am on Sunday and attendees will be free to roam the Park on their own after that.  An admission ticket will be required for anyone not participating in the Overnight.
