We are excited that you are considering the Scouting program! For new Scouts, we’re happy to welcome you into the pack any time during the year – Make sure to check out our Family Welcome Packet for a ton of information on Cub Scouts and Pack 46. The cost of scouting.

Registering for Scouting is a two-part process. First, you’ll complete a membership application online and pay National & Council Fees. Second, you’ll pay Pack 46 dues directly to the pack either online or at your first meeting. Once both steps are complete, you’re officially part of the adventure!

National BSA + Council Registration Fees – $113

paid once a year directly to National BSA here:
(if your scout is already registered with BSA, skip to Pack Dues below)

Youth Registration Adult Leader Registration

$80 goes directly to the National BSA for program development, online training/resources, insurance, etc.
$33 goes to the Greater Tampa Bay Area Council to support council camps, council programs, leader training, and youth programs.

There is an additional $25 one-time sign up fee for brand new scouts.

Fall 2023 Pack Dues – $125

paid directly to Pack 46 (siblings save $10)

Spring 2024 Pack Dues – $125*

paid directly to Pack 46
*Prices increase $10 after January 20!

Pay Dues Online Pay Dues for Siblings

Pack Dues stay in the Pack and include the Spook-O-Ree Campout (Fall), February Crossover Campout (Spring), Pack Meetings, Den Meetings, a Pack T-shirt (one per year), Pinewood Derby Car Kit (Spring), Community Events, Pack Equipment, Badges and Awards, and administrative expenses.

Total Annual Cost – $363

A family may participate in the Fall fundraiser and offset some or all of the cost of Spring dues.

Sibling Discount ($10 Fall, $10 Spring)

Prepayment Discount: $15 to prepay full year Pack dues (will not be eligible to earn Spring dues refund through fundraising)

Additional Costs to Expect

$25 one-time new scout sign-up fee charged by National to onboard brand new scouts.

Scout Uniform, Den-level handbook, personal camping equipment, and optional activities not included in dues.
