The first official camping trip of the scouting season was a blast! Everyone came out to enjoy a fun weekend at Camp Brorein with all the typical scout activities with a Halloween twist!
October means all things Halloween, and in the spirit of that holiday, the scouts took a crack at reusing household waste to make pumpkins drop-proof. Many of the precious gourds survived the fall, and some did not, but fun was had by all!
This month’s Pack meeting focused on collecting supplies for Owl’s Nest Sanctuary. They also came to the meeting to discuss the kinds of animals they take in, some tips what to do when scouts encounter animals in the wild and introduced us to a couple of their animal ambassadors.
