October means all things Halloween, and in the spirit of that holiday, the scouts took a crack at reusing household waste to make pumpkins drop-proof. Many of the precious gourds survived the fall, and some did not, but fun was had by all!

This month’s Pack meeting focused on collecting supplies for Owl’s Nest Sanctuary. They also came to the meeting to discuss the kinds of animals they take in, some tips what to do when scouts encounter animals in the wild and introduced us to a couple of their animal ambassadors.

The 2024/2025 season comes to a close with the Crossover Ceremony. This was a banner year for Pack 46 and the number of scouts continues to grow thanks to everyone from our outstanding leaders to our amazing parents. Everyone came together this year to learn, grow, and help each other! The adventure will continue with several activities scheduled over the summer and we can’t wat to see what tee 2025/2026 season will bring!

Tonight was the pre-Pinewood Derby meeting, so scouts put some final touches on their creations and tested them out on the track!

The first pack meeting of 2025 was a lot of fun with everyone enjoying taking part in a drum session!

The October pack meeting was definitely a welcome break from the chaos of back-to-back hurricanes. Along with all of the other activities, each den did their best to package up their pumpkins and see if they would survive the pumpkin drop!

Everyone had a great time at the pack meeting centered on tent construction and setup. Lots of awards were handed out including A LOT of Bobcat belt loops!

“I’m looking forward to the future, and feeling grateful for the past.”
– Mike Rowe (Eagle Scout)
After a year of challenges, hard work, and lots of fun, the Cubs of Pack 46 advanced to their next den levels last night! I’m so proud of these kids for sticking with it, and thankful for the leaders and parents who guided them along the way. Stay tuned for summer activity opportunities and our Fall kick-off when school returns!
